Edgewater Grill

I'm a native of San Diego. Had a late lunch there on Memorial Day. I sat outside, enjoyed the breeze and visuals in and out of the bay. My waiter (don't remember his name) was cool. He made general conversation while taking my order. I got the steak sandwich w/fries, and one Coronado Cooler (adult beverage). The sandwhich was great! Hot, fresh, and loaded with steak, grilled mushrooms, red and green peppers, onions, and their own house sauce. The drink was amazing too! Fruit taste, with a punch! The waiter kept my water glass full without me having to ask for it. His initiative earned him a nice tip. No complaints here. Great food, location, atmosphere, and a personal Seaport Village favorite of mine. 👍

Food was pedestrian and basic. Was it bad? No. Was it worth the price charged? No. Breakfast potatoes, eggs, bacon were mostly unseasoned. Toast was most interesting thing. Service was good however and redeemed what was otherwise a boring meal with some great water/bay views.

Great place with a waterfront bayside view. Food portions were large with great service. Loved the shrimp tacos! They have lots of other seafood and a kids menu to satisfy the little ones.
